Myofascial Release

This technique includes stretching, compression, and mobilization of the joints to work directly on injuries and imbalances of the body.  It is often confused with Deep Tissue because the pressure is often strong but comfortable.  This style of work is done on a massage table and requires oil for many of the strokes.  It is offered in 60 or 90 minute sessions.

Lomi Lomi

Based on a centuries old technique from the Hawaiian Islands, Lomi Lomi is a system of healing techniques used to align body, mind, and soul.  Using long strokes with coconut oil, the practitioner gradually increases the depth of the pressure to find the perfect balance of sensation and relaxation.  Offered in session of 60 or 90 minutes.

Shiatsu

"The heart of Shiatsu is the mother's touch, when you push the tsubo the fountain of life springs forth"  This statement is a brief description of the intention and reason for using Shiatsu to address all manner of physical and emotional issues.  The receiver wears loose clothing and rests on a mat on the floor while the practitioner uses facilitated stretches and compressions to lines of tension throughout the body.  Offered in 90 minute sessions.

Thai Massage

This style of Thai Massage originates from the northern jungles of Thailand and is often called "lazy man's yoga".  Dressed in loose clothing, one is guided through a routine of stretches that slowly loosens the muscles and increases circulation to the extremities.
